Digital impressions

3Shape TRIOS 5 Intraoral Scanner

If you’ve ever received a dental restoration or gone through orthodontic treatment, you likely remember the experience of taking manual impressions. It’s time-consuming, uncomfortable, and not always the most accurate. Instead of taking impressions the old-fashioned way, we take digital impressions using our 3Shape TRIOS 5 Intraoral Scanner. Your dentist will simply move the wand around your mouth, and it captures thousands of frames per second before rearranging them into a three-dimensional image of your teeth. This process is much faster, more comfortable, and accurate!

CBCT scanner

CBCT

Cone-beam computed tomography (CBCT) scanners are used to take three-dimensional images of specified areas of the mouth. This way, our dentists can see high-resolution images, allowing them to identify potential issues, detect them earlier, and provide patients with more accurate diagnoses. These images are used to plan complex procedures and personalize your treatment based on your unique anatomy. Ultimately, it maximizes your chances of a successful outcome and a smooth recovery period.

Digital X-Rays

Digital X-rays use an electronic sensor to capture images in the mouth. These images are sent directly to a computer, so they can be viewed instantly by your dental team. This means that getting X-rays no longer requires film, chemicals, or dark rooms. Using digital X-rays also reduces radiation exposure. After it is sent to the computer, the images can be manipulated and enhanced, allowing your dentist to more easily detect cavities, cracks, and other issues that aren’t so easy to identify with the naked eye.
